Evening Out the Patchy Bits
Overseeding involves covering the entire existing lawn with more grass seed to even out patchy areas. This produces a dense and healthy turf which helps keep weeds under control by giving them no open soil to take root in. Overseeding should be done throughout the growing season in combination with top dressing.
